While grading my seventh graders’ essays on mythological characters, it hit me that our students needed a forum to share their writing with authentic audiences, including their classmates. All Clague students are eligible to submit original works of fiction and nonfiction. Pieces neither have to be ELA-related, nor do they have to be previous assignments. In fact, there are only a few requirements: Work must be the students’ own, relatively free of spelling and punctuation errors, and school appropriate. As work is collected, categories will be added to make searching and reading more efficient.
